Anheuser-Busch Brewery Plant
Merrimack, NH

Pennoni Associates is performing a complete redesign of the perimeter roadway/drive system and parking lot for the Anheuser-Busch Brewery Plant in Merrimack, NH.  This facility is anticipated to undergo a five to seven-year program involving the reconstruction of paved vehicular travel and parking surfaces within the plant. During Phase I, Pennoni conducted a site topography and detailed investigation regarding site/roadway drainage and existing utilities. Pennoni worked closely with Anheuser-Busch’s Engineering Facility Support Division to produce site design, construction plans, and technical specifications to support the high frequency heavy-duty truck traffic utilizing this facility.  In addition, numerous at-grade railroad crossings required precise survey measurements and layout to enable the railroad construction contractor to build the at-grade railroad crossing.  A specific requirement of the client was a phased construction scenario, and Pennoni produced a schedule to ensure minimal disruption occurs to the client’s day-to-day business because of site construction. Pennoni is also responsible for general consultation to the contractor during the construction phase of this project.
