The Alberado Residential Subdivision Project site is approximately 65 acres and is located adjacent to Kenton Road just north of Dover within the jurisdictional limits of Kent County.  The proposed development consists of 85 new ¼-acre residential lots with associated roadway, sidewalk, recreational, utility and drainage conveyance improvements.  Pennoni Associates provided civil engineering, structural engineering and landscape architecture services for the development.  Specific design services provided by Pennoni include internal subdivision street design, entrance design, design of State Highway improvements, drainage and grading design, stormwater management design, wetland permitting support services, erosion and sediment control design and utility (sanitary sewer, storm sewer, water) design.  Project required an environmentally-sensitive design due to the existence of on-site floodplain and wetland areas.  Project involved the design of a wetland mitigation area, two stormwater management wet ponds and the structural design of a reinforced concrete box culvert to convey blue-line stream flow underneath the new entrance drive.
